Johto is a region that is only accessible for a brief visit for a post-game mission. Professor Thorn sends the player back in time to before the Brass Tower was burned down, in order to obtain the GS Ball.
Although a lot of locations can be seen on Town Map, however, there is only two locations that are accessible, which are Ecruteak Village and the Brass Tower.
