Cry

Onix is a dual-type Rock/Ground Pokémon. It evolves into Steelix when leveled up or traded while holding a Metal Coat.

Crystal Onix and Brock's Onix are standalone Onix forms introduced in version 3.3.0. Brock's Onix retains the Rock/Ground dual typing, whereas Crystal Onix is a Rock-type Pokémon. They cannot evolve, and breeding them will result in regular Onix offspring.
